If ‘Lock Stock’ set the wheels in motion, then ‘Lord Terror’ is the sound of Junk Mail moving up a gear with his new alias on Ram Records. The producers latest work is simple yet devastatingly effective. A brief intro flips into stepping beats, with a menacing bass lead and explosive synth effects. One for the heads and a perfect DJ tool, ‘Lord Terror’ shows Junk Mail can do raw underground cuts alongside stadium-sized anthems.
“Lord Terror was something I was inspired to produce since going to Andy C’s Wembley show last November. That big dinosaur style bass was such a memorising moment in a set and just had to do my take it on. The challenge I set myself was to have some serious energy in the tune but still maintaining gaps in the b line and musical flavours that keeps the track interesting. So hyped the way it turned out and hope everyone enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it!!” – Junk Mail
