Fabian Mazur wasn’t a name we were particularly familiar with up until yesterday. Now we are spending our time familiarising ourselves with his entire discography. For us, we think he has turned Trap right on it’s head and it’s really refreshing to hear something that isn’t so formulaic or similar to everything else.
The sound design elements he’s used on the drop feel borrowed from Jack Ü but are more likely influenced from all that amazing future garage coming out right now. The way he fused those sounds and even put some drum & bass inspired elements in the build just make this incredibly fresh.
